The TECNO Pouvoir 2 is one of the many devices TECNO has unveiled and this one particularly caught my attention with its massive 5000mAh battery that can take you 96 HOURS of power on. It’s actually an upgrade of the TECNO Pouvoir 1 released some months ago and was quick to enter my list of phones under 50k Naira. Aside from the battery, there are other great features that have been buried in this device. TECNO Pouvoir 2 Quick Review — What to Expect!
Starting with the design, TECNO covered this piece of awesomeness with an attractive metallic body just like you have it in some of the more recent Camon phones. A dual antenna line and curved edges make this baby perfect! Moving on to the rear, the circular camera sits at the top followed by the LED flash and then fingerprint scanner. On the front of the phone, as usual, you will find the notification light, camera, sensor and flashlight at the top bezel. The TECNO Pouvoir 2 measures 8.5mm in thickness and weigh over 200g, not surprised because of the massive 5000mAh battery. In the display region, the smartphone sports a massive 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that works with 720 x 1440 pixels and 269 pixels per inch density. With the Full View 18:9 aspect ratio in place, the display has a 76.3% screen-to-body ratio. Android 8.1 Oreo OS serves as the platform for which the TECNO Pouvoir 2 works on the smartphone. Nonetheless, there’s could be a scheduled update to the not yet released Android P.
Propelling on to what makes this phone function, MediaTek MT6737 handles the core operations of the smartphone. It comes with a 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology and ARM Mali-T720 MP2 that processor clocks at 650MHz for smooth processing of its graphics. Unlike the crazy 1TB Android smartphone previously posted on NAIJAKNOWHOW, the TECNO Pouvoir 2 smartphone has only 16GB internal storage and 2GB of RAM. Although, it supports an option to expand using MicroSD card support. As for the camera, the 13MP rear camera comes with a dual-LED flash and other features to capture beautiful photos even in moderate light conditions. While the 8MP selfie camera comes with front LED, uses a Face ID detection that allows you to takes cute selfies.
