Google has a feature for customisation emoji called Emoji Kitchen. This feature will combine two existing emojis to create one new emoji that is more specific. Examples of emoji combinations that can be made include adding glasses to smiley emojis, adding cowboy hats to ghost emojis, making robot emojis cry, or making emoji poops to express love with heart emojis.
— Google (@Google) February 12, 2020 New emojis that are made will later be converted into stickers that can be used in other applications that are compatible with Gboard, such as Gmail, Messenger, Snapchat, Telegram, WhatsApp and others. But it should be noted that this feature cannot combine just any emoji just like that. Only emojis supported by Google can be used because these new emojis are not combined in real-time but have been specifically designed by the Google team for Gboard. Currently, the Emoji Kitchen feature has been regularly rolled out to Gboard users. So some users might not be able to taste this feature.
How to customize emojis on Gboard
If you are a Gboard user who has already gotten the Emoji Kitchen feature, how to customize the emojis is easy. First open the Gboard in a messaging application, such as WhatsApp or Messenger. After that, tap on the desired emoji, for example, robot emoji. Emoji Kitchen will display a set of stickers to choose from, for example, a crying emoji robot. Choose an emoji from the list of suggestions and send it as a sticker for your friends.
